We entered the Northland Business Excellence awards this year - it turned out to be a really rewarding process. A lot of hard work, but some good time spent looking at ways to improve our business and also celebrating the growth we have had over the past 5 years.
We were blown away to recieve the ACC Workplace Injury Prevention Award and also to be a Finalist in the Medium Business Catergory.
A little bit about the awards....
The NorthChamber Northland Business Excellence Awards is an annual event
offering the perfect opportunity for local businesses to run a comprehensive ‘health
check” on their organisation using a framework underpinned by the internationally
recognised Baldridge Business Excellence Criteria.
It encourages owners to benchmark their business and showcase all the incredible
work that goes into making it a success. The comprehensive feedback from the
judging panel offers business owners insights into focus areas and opportunities that
will help develop and strengthen their organisation.
All participants from entrant through to Supreme Winner have the knowledge that
their business has been put through a stringent process including site visits and face
to face interviews and should rightfully feel proud of their achievement.
